As a person who has lived in different countries, and travelled quite a bit, I find my work influenced by all that I have experienced and seen.
The colours of life and living things, movement and how to interpret it, and, like most artists the light and how it affects what I see has great influence in how I work. This crosses through my drawings and paintings, my sculpture, and my jewellery. My purpose is to try and make my observers see how I see, and hopefully add something to their lives too.
Certainly my jewellery usually has strong reference to nature, as does my sculpture.
My paintings tend to be about people and animals, the interaction and the often funny things we do. I admit that I love to throw in a touch of the surreal in there too.
